Drake is a small village on the Bruxner Highway between Tenterfield and Tabulam, surrounded by timbered hills, rural blocks and grazing country. It sits right on our regular run along the highway, so getting plant to a Drake property is straightforward, and smaller jobs can often be lined up with other work nearby.

Blocks around Drake are often steep, rocky and heavily timbered, and regrowth comes back quickly after a wet summer. Our Yanmar ViO55 with an FAE flail mulcher handles dense regrowth, lantana and overgrown fence lines, and leaves the material on the ground as mulch rather than in windrows to burn.
