Granite country and cold winters shape how we approach a job up here. Decomposed granite makes a good base when it is cut, shaped and compacted properly, but scours whenever water runs down a driveway, so we look at crossfall and drainage before we seal the job. We do council-approved bitumen sealing all across the region.
