Casino sits on the Richmond River where the Bruxner Highway meets the Summerland Way, and it is the main centre of the Richmond Valley. Around town there is a mix of lifestyle blocks, cattle properties and rural residential estates, out towards Coraki and Mallanganee, and plenty of them need a shed, a house site or a better driveway.

Much of the country around Casino is flatter than the hills further north, which brings its own problem: water that sits instead of running off. For machinery and hay sheds we build pads up with compacted fill so the floor stays above the surrounding ground, and we shape the area around the shed so runoff has somewhere to go. Trenching for stormwater, water lines to troughs and power to sheds is often done in the same visit.

Long gravel driveways on flat ground tend to pothole and hold puddles. Lifting and reshaping the driveway with proper crossfall and table drains fixes most of that, and a council-approved bitumen seal on the entrance or the full length stops the gravel being carried onto the road. Where paddocks or fence lines have gone back to regrowth, the flail mulcher and stick rake clear them without a burn pile.
