Tweed Heads is the far north-east corner of NSW, on the Queensland border next to Coolangatta, and the eastern end of the corridor we cover. Nearby areas such as Banora Point, Terranora, Bilambil and Kingscliff mix established suburbs, newer estates and acreage in the hills behind the coast.

Residential work here is usually about access. Side passages, backyards and established gardens leave little room for big plant, so the Airman AX27u (about 2.7 tonnes) is the usual choice. It digs trenches for stormwater, sewer connections by your plumber, water and power, cuts small pads for sheds, granny flats and slabs, and digs out footings and garden areas without tearing up the rest of the yard. Spoil is handled as agreed in the quote.

Drainage is a constant on the coast, with heavy summer storms and sandy or clay ground depending on the street. We shape the ground to fall away from the house and connect to the drainage your plumber or engineer has designed.

Out on acreage blocks in the hills, the Yanmar ViO55 handles larger trenching, driveway shaping and flail mulching of overgrown slopes. Driveway entrances can be dug out, based and finished with a council-approved bitumen seal.

Builders, plumbers and landscapers can also book the mini excavator with an operator as wet plant hire, by the hour or day.
